Registration Open for NanoHarmony and NANOMET Workshop on Developing OECD Testing Guidelines | Bergeson and Campbell, PC

The NanoHarmony and NANOMET projects are organizing their first joint face-to-face workshop on the development of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Test Guidelines (TG) for Nanomaterials, in collaboration with the OECD Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials (WPMN) at the OECD Conference Center in Paris on June 29-30, 2022. NanoHarmony aims to facilitate and improve the TG development process from the perspective of developers, users and the harmonization body. NANOMET supports the OECD to identify and develop standardized methods for nanomaterials.

During the workshop, participants will discuss challenges and best practices for the development of TGs. Particular emphasis will be placed on the use of TGs in regulation from an international perspective. NanoHarmony and NANOMET will inform attendees about the different stages of the TG development process, potential process improvements, and ongoing developments of TGs for nanomaterials. Open discussions will be used to obtain stakeholder input on the OECD process and to gather information on ongoing OECD projects for the development of TDs and guidance documents.

Places in the workshop may be limited, depending on local restrictions that may be in effect at the time, so registration does not guarantee a place in the workshop. Delegates will be selected to ensure balanced representation across countries and stakeholder types. There will also be the option to join the meeting online and registrants can select this option on the order form. Registrations will be closed June 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (CEST) in order to allow the OECD time to carry out the necessary security checks.
