Rebel Interactive Group addresses the challenges faced by higher education

Connecticut-based digital marketing agency Rebel Interactive Group and two of its top executives, President and Co-Owner Allison Minutillo and Chief Strategy Officer BJ Kito, have been selected to speak at the UPCEA New England Region Conference 2022 in October.

According to its website, UPCEA is the only organization in North America that focuses on the professional, continuing, online education (PCO) business. For more than 100 years, UPCEA has served most major public and private colleges and universities in North America.

“The opportunity to share with conference attendees our transformative vision to break away from the traditional higher education playbook and embrace the demands of today’s students in a rebellious way brings great pride,” said Minutillo.

With higher education at an inflection point and the line between “traditional” and “non-traditional” students blurred, applicants weigh a broader set of factors when considering their options: synchronous versus asynchronous, in-person versus distance learning, degree versus certifications or badges, etc., therefore, employers have joined MOOCs for direct skills upgrading and/or OPMs to generate the leads needed to meet enrollment goals.

The market has changed seemingly overnight and leaders cannot ignore these trends. “Client after client, industry after industry, Rebel Interactive Group has seen firsthand the lowest common denominator that separates institutions that thrive and those that falter. The lack of rebellious leadership is more prevalent in higher education than in any other industry,” says Minutillo. “With the right amount of thought, honesty, tools, frameworks, and ah-ha moments, you can be the leader your institution needs to solve its greatest challenges.”

In direct response to the challenges facing the higher education industry, and in collaboration with Regis University, Rebel Interactive Group will share with conference attendees invaluable insights associated with tools to facilitate a new level of trust in leadership to position yourself for success, while also learning what will solve each enrollment challenge.

“Through a highly collaborative approach with our valued academic clientele, we have identified real solutions for legitimate issues in today’s higher education landscape. We start by putting ourselves in the shoes of the student and then diving headfirst into creative, yet strategic, analytical efforts that ultimately help us stand out from other digital agencies,” said Bryn Tindall, CEO and owner of rebel.
