Privia Health Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRVA) has announced that Jeffrey S. Sherman will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Mr. Sherman will report to Privia Health’s Managing Director Shawn Morris and will be responsible for finance and accounting, including financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations and SEC reporting.

Sherman was Executive Vice President (EVP), Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of HMS Holdings Corp. since 2014. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AccentCare, a privately owned community health care delivery organization. Sherman was previously executive vice president and chief financial officer of LifePoint Hospitals Inc., a publicly traded operator of 71 hospitals in 22 states with annual revenue of $ 6.3 billion before its sale. His healthcare background also includes senior finance roles at Tenet Healthcare Corporation, including roles as treasurer and divisional and hospital CFO. Sherman holds a BS in Finance / Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
