Panel discussion on “Monitoring, evaluation and evaluation programs needed to achieve development in schools” held in Baku (PHOTO)

On June 29, a round table on “Monitoring, evaluation and evaluation programs necessary to achieve development in schools” was organized at school №201.

Round table organized by Department of Education of Baku City (BCED), Center for Humanistic Pedagogy of Azerbaijan Republic, International Association of Educational Organizations for Humanistic Pedagogy under International Center for Humanistic Pedagogy has started by a minute of silence to commemorate our martyrs.

Asif Jahangirov, president of the International Association of Educational Organizations for Humanistic Pedagogy, and Sevinj Mammadova, program director of George Washington University in the United States, spoke about the importance of implementing follow-up programs , evaluation and evaluation for the sustainable development of education.

Then with the participation of Mehriban Valiyeva, head of BCED, Elnur Aliyev, head of the department of organization and management of general and preschool education of the Ministry of Education, Rufat Azizov, director of the Institute of education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Scott Coftus, PhD, professor at George Washington University in the United States and Francesco Banchini, director of the European School of Azerbaijan, discussions were held on the importance of having the skills needed for program evaluation and leadership relationships in the monitoring process.

Representatives of education management institutions, school principals and teachers who participated in the event discussed the implementation of monitoring, evaluation and evaluation programs needed to achieve development in educational institutions, the importance of the correct assessment of students’ knowledge and the examination of modern approaches in the organization of school-based assessments.

Francesco Banchini, CEO and Director of the European School of Azerbaijan, was invited to a panel discussion to express his views on the important work he has done in the field of education locally and internationally. Francesco Bachini expressed his gratitude to the President of the International Association of Educational Organizations for Humanistic Pedagogy Asif Jahangirov for organizing this opportunity for valuable and thoughtful feedback on monitoring assessment and evaluation. Mr. Banchini provided valuable insights into competition, skills and leadership issues in program monitoring.

He also spoke about his experience at the European School in Azerbaijan and the work done to advance the reputation of EAS. It was very interesting for Mr. Banchini to exchange ideas with the representatives of the Ministry of Education on the development of our national education system and the role that EAS will play in this process. Mr. Banchini expressed his pride in hearing the name of the European School of Azerbaijan at prestigious events.
