Hudson Valley Property Group bolsters its acquisitions team and promotes its chief of staff

Hudson Valley Property Group (HVPG)one of the nation’s leading affordable housing preservation companies, today announced that it has hired Gleb Lerman as Director of Acquisitions and promoted Alexandra Coleman from her role in business development and acquisitions to chief of staff at HVPG .

Gleb will help drive HVPG’s portfolio growth by securing strategic partnerships and investment opportunities across the portfolio; improve the quality of affordable housing in the United States. Previously, Gleb founded a real estate investment startup, focused on creating affordable homeownership opportunities. He was also Vice President of Acquisitions in the Investment Management Group of L+M Development Partners. Additionally, Gleb has held positions at CBRE and Miller Cicero focusing on affordable housing consulting. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Baruch College and a master of science in real estate from New York University.

Over the past six years, Coleman has held various positions within the company to help scale the organization, most recently as director of the acquisitions team. She played a critical role in origination, business development, investor relations, acquisition project management and marketing, amid the company’s explosive growth from 1,100 units to more than 8. 300 units, an increase of 654%.

Prior to HVPG, Coleman worked at in their Dispositions and Acquisitions groups. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and her master’s degree in real estate science from Baruch College’s School of Business.
