ClearSale acquires software development organization Beta Learning
MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global e-commerce fraud protection leader ClearSale (www.clear.sale) has acquired innovative software company Beta Learning Consultoria e Desenvolvimento de Software LTDA (“Beta Learning”) for an initial investment of 40.1 million reais, or approximately US$7 million, and two additional installments of approximately US$2.25 million, conditional and variable based on the company’s performance over the following 24 months.
The acquisition accelerates ClearSale’s research and development resources and boosts growth targets since launching its IPO last summer. This purchase allows the company to continue its focus on combining cutting-edge products with the world’s largest team of fraud analysts to provide unparalleled protection for online merchants. The announcement comes less than 6 months after the company’s IPO debut in July 2021. ClearSale CEO Bernardo Lustosa believes the acquisition will improve the product and benefit customers and investors alike. ClearSale continues to grow at the same rate, between 25% and 35% per year, with slightly lower margins but on schedule.”
Beta Learning has grown exponentially since its launch in 2019.
