Catella takes further steps towards simplified structure with return of banking license and sale of remaining shares of Catella Fondförvaltning AB

SOLNA, Sweden, January 10, 2022 / PRNewswire / – As previously communicated, a decision on withdrawing approval as a credit institution from the ECB was expected at the end of 2021. This decision was received during the fourth quarter of 2021 and means that Catella does not is no longer under surveillance as a credit institution.

In addition, with reference to the press release issued on 06/10/2020, Catella has used the right to sell the remaining 30 percent of the shares of Catella Fondförvaltning AB for 60 million Swedish kronor to Athanase.
