Party on the Patio Poster Design

Many bands, large and small, have played there, and they often hold various types of themed parties and celebrations. One such musical event is the “Party on the Patio,” which features a series of bands playing from August 2nd to September 20th of 2008.

Music is the main focus of this poster, as two large speakers make up the majority of the imagery, and an image of the Waterhole building is visible as well. The main color used in the poster is a solid black, which gives the design a large amount of contrast. However, the bird perching on the title text is a dark gray, and is the only element of the poster to be this color. To add visual interest, texture was added to the black sections of the poster by creating a grungy, worn look.
