Sportsmens Celebration Logo Design

Celebrating Sportsmanship. The Sportsmen’s Celebration is a promotional tribute to National Hunting and Fishing Day held by the Sportsmen’s Foundation.

The logo is clearly related to the Sportsmen’s Foundation logo with the use of a bold serif typography treatment. To communicate the “celebration” aspect of the design, the word “CELEBRATION” within the logo is placed on a textured background that conveys a sense of activity and movement. Imagery includes illustrations of wildlife, flora and fauna included, which further communicates the celebratory nature of the logo by showing what appears to almost be a gathering of animals. Finally, the color palette of natural greens drives home the fact that the Sportsmen’s Foundation (and Celebration) is based around nature.

Sportsmens Stationery Brochure Design

Included in the printed materials for the Sportsmen’s Celebration are a flyer and stationery. All pieces use the same light and dark greens and typographic treatment from the logo. Imagery includes color photography as well as the illustration art from the logo, all referencing some aspect of the outdoors and sportsmen’s activities.
