RTB Photo Brochure Design

Todd Bissonette is a full-time photojournalist
and stringer for the Associated Press.

He has captured images from high-profile sporting events such as the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, and has captured many beautiful shots in and around his hometown of Lake Placid, NY. He is also a wedding and portrait photographer for which Ron designed a set of printed collateral.

The brochure and other printed materials for RTB Photography focus strongly on the photographic work of the client. To let the photography take main stage, the typography is simple and the color palette sticks to a solid black background and white text. These pieces allow the photography to sell itself by allowing it to be the main feature of every design.

“It’s easy to provide for effective graphic design when your client’s work is so jaw-dropping that it sells itself,” says Ron of Todd’s work.

RTB Photo Logo Design

The logo that appears on the printed pieces was also designed by Ron Bercume.

The majority of the focus within the logo is on the bold, handwritten signature, and the clean typeface appearing beneath it acts as a compliment and simple description. This one color logo is easily placed on nearly any background color as the design is solid in color.

The logo doubles as a signature from the artist and is a clean, unobtrusive addition to his photography when used as a form of identification on any piece.
